Fallen Apart
This Punk is inspired by CryptoPunk #576 and artworks of Suprematist Kliun, who was a member of the "Supremus" group headed by Malevich. The most important moment of his biography was his meeting with K. S. Malevich in 1907 , who had a huge influence on the further artworks of Kliun, introducing him to the artistic community of the Russian avant-garde.

Kliun — Suprematism, 1916
Ivan Vasilyevich Kliun focused primarily on the subject of color in his arts. Later, Kliun turned from clear geometry of forms to spherical compositions with a smooth play of color and light.
Kliun — Landscape, 1911
In 1930s, like the majority of Soviet artists, he was forced to switch to traditional figurative painting, which, however, did not bring him much success. Because of the censorship of art under the USSR, Kliun rejected Suprematism, never found himself in a new art form and disappeared into the shadows.
A scene from Andrei Tarkovsky's film "Mirror"
The color palette and style of the objects and their location were inspired by the films and life of Andrei Tarkovsky - one of the greatest and most influential directors in the history of Russian and world cinema. His films create a cycle about the suffering and hope of a man who has taken upon himself the burden of moral responsibility for the whole world. In 1984, Tarkovsky announced his decision to remain in the West at a press conference in Milan, i.e. to become a non-returnee. In the USSR it was forbidden to show his films in cinemas and to mention his name in the press. The Punk reflects, through color and form, the nature described by Tarkovsky in his film "Mirror".
A scene from Andrei Tarkovsky's film "Stalker"
SupremePunk #007 is shifted away from the center to show dissociation from the world and exile. There are similarities in the fates of Kluhn and Tarkovsky. Free art and expression were not supported by the government, so the great artists had to identify themselves. Like in the film of Andrei Tarkovsky "Stalker": the hero goes through moments of despair when his faith is shaken
"Erlkönig" is a poem by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. It depicts the death of a child assailed by a supernatural being, the Erlking, a king of the fairies.
A similar idea, the idea of blurring the boundaries of the two worlds, is shown in a dark and frightening poem by Goethe. This poem made a deep mark on the soul of SupremePunks' artist, who portrayed the Punk. From an early age, the artist was fond of poems and books. His attitude to books has changed when his uncle had a heart attack and he was the only person to take care of him . This uncle had a large library and our artist spent all his free time in the library, looking for foreign books and learning about new authors.
The last book from this library was "Erlkönig" - a poem by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. It depicts the death of a child assailed by a supernatural being, the Erlking, a king of the fairies. After the imminent death of his uncle the library was removed. The emotions experienced from this book were superimposed on the death of the beloved uncle and the feelings evoked by this poem were death, coldness and loneliness. These emotions were expressed in the SupremePunk's face. From an early age, the artist was fond of poems and books. His attitude to books has changed when his uncle had a heart attack and he was the only person to take care of him . This uncle had a large library and our artist spent all his free time in the library, looking for foreign books and learning about new authors.
"I love thee, I'm charm'd by thy beauty, dear boy!⠀⠀ And if thou'rt unwilling, then force I'll employ."⠀⠀⠀⠀ "My father, my father, he seizes me fast,⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Full sorely the Erl-King has hurt me at last."
The father now gallops, with terror half wild,⠀⠀⠀⠀ He grasps in his arms the poor shuddering child⠀ He reaches his courtyard with toil and with dread,-- The child in his arms finds he motionless, dead.
