This Punk is inspired by CryptoPunk #2244 and artworks of Chashnik. We took one of the least popular figures in suprematism - oval - and tried to built the whole work just around it.

The main suprematist whose works we took for this Punk is Ilya Chashnik. He has a very vivid and unique style. Unlike the most suprematists, who almost always use one shape once in one work, he took the same figures multiple times to enhance the idea of the dominance of color over shape. He has clearly shown that we should never pay attention to shapes, their similarities and amount in his works. That is why we decided to divide and multiply almost all figures in order to pay tribute to such a bold idea.

However, instead of using only one artist, it has been decided to add some elements from works of other great artists too. For example, the obvious one is a cross with an oval in the left bottom corner. This a reference to K. Malevich works where he depicted crosses reflecting on the role of the religion in his life and lives of his nation. And one of the most popular - "A mysterious suprematism" also contains an oval.

But despite all mentioned artworks, the aesthetic of this Punk was inspired by the beauty and grace of blossoming Japanese sakura tree. We chose the shade of pink that represents the color of sakura leaves after looking through But despite all mentioned artworks, the aesthetic hundreds of Japanese paintings with sakura. This tree symbolises the speed of life and its beauty. So we tried to show all magnificence of this tree. The head of Punk reminds the root of a tree, his hair looks like leeves of blossoming cherry, we separated them from each other to emphasize its light and beauty of each of them. We payed a lot attention to eyes of Punk - it was important to show with his beauty and unattainability. Just like sakura blossoms for just a moment this Punk is close to another world and this big blue eyes that doesn't show any emotions means just that.
