Tableau I
This Punk is inspired by CryptoPunk #9354 and artworks of Piet Mondrian. In creating the composition on several charcoal sketches, Mondrian abandoned all indirect and diagonal lines. His solution stems from the enigmatic belief that the vertical and the horizontal represent the two basic dimensions of existence: the first is a symbol of consciousness, masculinity and the sky, while the second is unconscious, feminine and earthly. In contrast to these eternal principles - horizontals and verticals, diagonals and curves are only incidental elements, too ephemeral to be part of high art. Having got rid of them, Mondrian needed a technique capable of recreating a sense of life.
P. Mondrian — Tableau I, 1921 (Neoplasticism)
The point is that in this SupremePunk there is a play of contrasts, the image of the punk itself is in cold tones and the elements around it have warm tones. In order to emphasise the contrast of warmth in Punk, colours of the same brightness have been chosen, as if the contrast is mixed in both brightness and warmth, this effect cannot be achieved. Punk is done in the neo-plasticist style created by Mondrian. Neoplasticism is based on the utopia of a new plastic culture created by "primary elements": lines, geometric shapes, and the basic colours of the spectrum. Mondrian painted abstract compositions on a plane of rectangles and squares painted with local tones of "base colours" (red, yellow, blue) and separated by a black outline. Rhythm became the main principle of formation, and lines were given a symbolic and even sacral meaning. Through the absence of curves, Punk is harmonious and stable, it is stable despite the fact that Punk's construction may seem rather fragile due to the glassy outlines and simple structure of the lines.
Piet Mondrian — Breakwater and Ocean, 1915
In Breakwater and Ocean Mondrian has divided the cubist grid into a fractured field with pluses and minuses, whose irregular intervals, accentuated by strokes of white paint, convey the movement of the calm sea. Despite the apparent randomness of the composition, the space between the horizontal lines constantly shrinks as you approach the top of the canvas. This evokes the traditional angular chess perspective, while the subdued movement and hidden order recreate a sense of timelessness.
Interior design in the neo-plasticist style created by P. Mondrian
Punk is no less minimalist and it creates a certain aesthetic resistance, not only to the outside world, but also to one's inner struggle with oneself. it is a new way of life in which everyone strives to create the most comfortable living environment for themselves, using simple shapes and colour combinations, without unnecessary details. This is why neo-plasticism is so popular amongst architecture and design. Punk is an image of perfect form - it has a form of lines and simplicity, which in turn has been inspired by the art of modernism. Punk is not only an ideal form, but also a content that carries ideas of change, movement, protest, a call for change.
