Non-objective
This Punk is inspired by the #CryptoPunk #9167 and works of Kazimir Malevich. Kazimir Malevich was a pioneer of geometric abstract art, the creator of the avant-garde suprematist movement and cubo-futurism. In his canvases, he tried to combine the principles of Cubism, futurism and expressionism. He was also interested in aerial photography and aviation, which led him to abstractions inspired by aerial landscapes. It was he who created the "Black Square", a famous painting that became an icon of abstractionism.
Kazimir Malevich — Athletes, 1931
The SupremePunk is inspired by the painting "Athletes". All the figures in this painting are completely subordinated to the color composition. The whole composition seems completely alienated from reality. Malevich portrayed athletes without faces to emphasize the meaning of the world. They are presented not as ordinary people, but as people connected with art. SupremePunk has a non-standard color scheme for suprematism, but the composition clearly refers to this trend. The overlap of color planes and their interaction is exactly what interested the avant-garde artists of the early 20th century. In this composition, on a deep black background, dynamically moving due to perspective expansion in the form of changing circular planes is located.
SupremePunk has a non-standard color scheme for suprematism, but the composition clearly refers to this trend. The overlap of color planes and their interaction is exactly what interested the avant-garde artists of the early 20th century. The overall mood of the painting is tense and a little hypnotic. This impression is created because of an unusual combination of rich brown and pungent purple colors.
Enrico Prampolini — Plastic Synthesis, 1925
In terms of emotional intensity, the picture can be compared with Enrico Prampolini's canvas "Plastic Synthesis". Prampolini is an Italian artist, an outstanding representative of the second wave of the futuristic trend in painting, one of the first surrealists in the country. Enrico Prampolini was an extraordinarily gifted man who showed his talent in many branches of art. He was known to his contemporaries as a theatrical set designer and designer, as well as an architect who wrote several fundamental works in this direction. In his exciting painting "Plastic Synthesis", the artist depicted the leader of the Futurists, the famous writer and poet in a dynamic futuristic manner with elements of Cubism.
His face arises from a mosaic-abstract background consisting of geometric shapes and elements of letters. It is tense and even aggressive, its head looks like a steel helmet, and its mouth is filled with sharp triangular fragments-words. The image radiates powerful energy and strength, so that the viewer feels that he is about to hear the metallic and vibrating voice of the speaker. Also, SupremePunk strives to convey a sense of movement. The picture tends to metamorphosis, such a feeling is formed due to the fragmentation and overflow of one form from another.
Carlo Carra — The Woman on the balcony, 1912
This technique was used by many Cubist artists of the 20th century. One of them is Carlo Carra. Italian painter and graphic artist, representative of futurism and metaphysical painting. The artist's style has changed dramatically several times during his long career. He went through several successive periods: early neo-Impressionism and symbolism, futurism, Cubism, metaphysics and neoclassical painting. His painting "Woman on the Balcony" is an interesting representation of Cubist painting in Italy. The main idea of this painting, like many other works of the artist, is the desire to convey movement. Here Carra tried to express it by the method of analytical cubism - the decomposition of an object into separate components.
The central part of the plot — a woman hanging laundry - is fixed simultaneously in several phases of her movement, and the viewer can imagine a complete picture of her movements on the balcony. Compared to the artist's earlier works, the dynamics of the painting is quite calm, and the color scheme varies within several colors and their unsaturated shades.
The general mood and composition of the SupremePunk are an excellent reflection of the main principles of cubo-futurists and suprematists at the same time, and the attractive color scheme creates a tense and hypnotic feeling that will be remembered for a long time.
