New Era
This Punk is inspired by CryptoPunk #6987 and the work of Ilya Chashnik. The painting is based on the basic principles of Suprematism, a style created by the artist and philosopher Kazimir Malevich. The main principles of this style: playing with the three-dimensional image, the richness of simple geometry. Paintings in this style combined the style of Cubo-Futurism with the style of folk lubok, which was most evident later in illustrations, book covers and in poster art.

In the SupremePunk, the colored planes create a dynamic, echoing one another. Horizontal red, gray and black lines support the overall composition, creating the overall mood of the painting. Black background actively highlights all the colors, creating a heartfelt image. A similar technique of overlapping colored planes creating dynamics can be found in Časznick's 1922 painting The Movement of Color. Geometry in this Suprematist work appears in its laconic elementary form in the form of vertical lines of different widths and flowing into each other in places. The color movement stated in the title is realized through rhythmic alternation of white, gray, red and black stripes. The main wave in a slight offset from the center of the work is formed by the widest and most continuous red element surrounded by light details. Red as if gradually gaining acceleration from left to right and optically approaching the viewer.

Based on the Suprematist style, the author of SupremePunk forms a multifaceted image of man. Simple geometry helps the viewer to see the overall form more clearly and penetrate the content. Another artist, El Lissitzky, uses a similar technique in his 1923 painting New Man.
El Lissitzky — The New Man, 1923
The work belongs to the Berlin period of the artist's career. The figure of the individual of the new era, as the creators of the constructivist movement believed, is a goal-oriented person, that is, a man of logic, function and usefulness. El Lissitzky "compiled" a character from the symbols of his country and all of progressive Europe. The human body, like everything in the world, includes triangles, ovals, and circles. Lisicki created a man who is pure geometry, perhaps this man is made as part of architecture. The idea of maximum simplification of form, according to the author's thought, is to return people and art to a state of complete functionality. Dynamic color planes on the supremacist as if floating on the canvas of the picture, the human head is not attached, it is separate from everything. Flight of thought, inconstancy of mood, these are the main themes of the painting. The creative disorder of geometric figures, their chaotic nature create a sense of flight, convey the aspiration of the creative soul. Such a thought can be found in the unusual and colorful work of Ivan Kudryashov.
